Known Limitations
Sensors may only be upgraded from a version known to Console to support sensor upgrades.
Sensors may only be upgraded to a version known to Console to support sensor upgrades.
Sensors may not be downgraded.
Sensors running in containers or serverless wrappers are not supported. They will attempt to upgrade but will always fail.
As of Console 4.9.0, the only sensor version supporting upgrade is 4.9.0. Future versions of Console will add support for future versions of sensors.
This means Console will need to be updated to support new sensor versions, before sensors can be upgraded to those versions.
When updating multiple sensors at once, zero, some, or all upgrades may immediately fail.
If all upgrades fail, the browser directs the user to the Console logs for detailed information on why each sensor failed.
If zero or some upgrades fail, the browser considers the upgrade a success, and does not direct the user to the Console logs.
It may take up to five minutes for the Resources and Resource Details pages to display the new sensor version.
Only one resource group may be upgraded at one time.
If a resource group is selected to upgrade, and a new resource is later added to that group, it will not be automatically upgraded. To upgrade it, you may either upgrade that individual host or upgrade the group a second time.
